BRICKS Desktop

The BRICKS desktop is a stand-alone java application (more technically, an Eclipse plug-in), implementing a rich GUI to the functionality of the BRICKS foundations. As such, the desktop is complementary to the BRICKS Workspace: while the latter is a Web-based application, covering only the most important Foundation services, the desktop offers access to virtually all the foundation functionality. In particular, the following components will be interfaced by the desktop:
- Collection Manager
- Content Manager
- Ontology Manager
- Metadata Manager
- Query Mediator
- Personalization Manager
- Annotation Manager
