BRICKS Importer

The BRICKS importer component, is based on the Open Archives Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH). The importer uses this protocol for importing metadata into the BRICKS metadata manager. It acts as a PMH client. The external system (the existing content management system) needs to implement or interface with an OAI PMH server. The retrieved metadata are stored in the Metadata Manager Brick. The content is stored in the Content Management Brick.
